The St. Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards (SKNBS) as the National Standards Body (NSB), tasked with the development of standards, is developing a national vehicle inspection standard.
The purpose of the standard is to establish proper assessment procedures to ensure vehicle safety on the road. A vehicle inspection is important for every vehicle that is on the road. A vehicle is inspected not only to ensure that it is safe to drive, but that everyone else is safe as well.
Therefore, the SKNBS invites all interested parties including, but not limited to mechanics, vehicle inspectors, vehicle sellers, vehicle importer and vehicle owners to participate in the development of a national vehicle inspection standard.
The consultation will be on Tuesday, 10th of May 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Nagico Insurance building, 3rd floor conference room.
