The St. Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards (SKNBS) informs the public that the World Trade Organization (WTO) has circulated a notification under the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) concerning the National Bureau of Standards (Labelling of Goods) Regulations 2022.
Some products are entering the country without instructions in English, the official language of St. Kitts and Nevis. This has raised health and safety concerns for consumers. Under the Bureau of Standards and Quality Act, all instructions on goods must include English.
